Since it is Halloween coming up I'm introducing two new costume silks.

Alice is adult and sexy with her classic pale blue silks. It is mostly prim pieces with only the arm and leg stocking as clothing layers. Nestled her bodice is the white rabbit's lost watch.

A cute silk themed for The Queen of Hearts, the nemesis of Alice. It is mostly prim pieces with only the arm and leg stocking as clothing layers. Nestled in the bodice is the Red Rose, was it painted? The world may never know.

Ironically enough I was able to create these in forty eight hours.  Good thing too because the holiday is just around the corner and I was truly worried I would not have them out in time when the inspiration hit me over the weekend.

Another new batch! Inspiration cometh

Well after the agony that the camisks represented I expected it to be a while before I had anything new to offer; yet here we are, a week and a day latter and I have five new silks to share.

Not quite as elaborate as My Rose silks or Pirate silks, my new Plaid silks do offer something new; A sweet sculped waist drape that I bought off the marketplace. It really curves with the female avatar hips in second life and I think it looks pretty good!  Ye, I know it's not autumn theme that I promised, but it was what inspired me!

The top comes in Jacket, shirt, and undershirt layers and there is a lovely silver butterfly pin to accent the plaid skirt with a matching hairclip that I think really finishes the outfit. Available colors are pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple. Because Orange is the devil and I will only make it if specifically requested.

After some prompting from a friend I now have a little cart in the Sias market, so far it does not seem to have made me any profit, but hey. Sales have to pick up at some point right? In my main shop I now officially have more packages to sell than my 25 prim allotment so I had to take down some of the sell boards and put in an Alika vendor (did the same thing at the sias Market too) It was a little complicated to set up at firs, never having used one before, but it had a very clear instruction notecard with it that was a life saver!

Here is a screenshot of my first full store, Yes I know it's really more of a booth.  But it's mine and I love it.

Well, I've done it again. Unable to keep up with my SL shopping habit I have created another Gorean themed outfit in hopes to draw in a little income. This time I have attempted a camisk which was a whole new set of lessons learned! Yes, I have entered the world of attempting clothing layers instead of just texturing sculpted prims. With the help of my very good friend Rowan Carrol I have used not only texturing techniques but “baking” and added a few wrinkles as well. Since I am a woman who likes options I have created this basic Butterfly camisk in six different base pastel colors: Red, Orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. I know what you are saying: Hooray, the girl is familiar with the rainbow. Well I am, and if you've never seen an outfit you liked but they didn't haven't in the color you wanted than you may not be picky enough.

So, a few features that make my simple design here something to write home about. Have you ever had two prims that were alpha textures cancel each other out? It causes this weird shadow effect that is rather irritating in my opinion.. so to prevent that from being an issue, the butterflies featured on my design are 5 prim object with no alphas, the wing textures were created in photoshop using a gradient tool and a stained glass texture.

The camisk pattern was drawn free hand which is a minor miracle all in of itself as I have very shaky hands but for a first time clothing layer creation I'd say it turned out very well. I won't bore you any more now.. I know this is a rather spring like offering, I promise my next creation will be more fall appropriate. Perhaps something with autumn leaves...
